The Westridge House is an investment property for out-of-town parents to have a cozy place to call home when visiting their adult children and grandchild who live in NC. Their son-in-law is a talented carpenter and lover of house projects, so while he took on the renovations, I provided insights and a plan for the overall layout and design of the home.

To better accommodate their needs, we focused on an open floor plan for hosting, rearranging the layout of the bedrooms, updating the bathrooms & laundry room, and creating a more comfortable master bedroom suite. I provided the strategy to help make these dreams come to life - taking walls down on on the main floor to add openness and more natural light, and rearranging the layout of the master suite to make it larger and more comfortable, complete with a walk-in closet and updated bathroom. I also helped with tile selection, paint colors and an overall aesthetic for the home, leaning into rich black and white tones, clean lines, and a modern farmhouse style.
